This is a road dog SG standard with an interesting quirk. 1999 SG standard limited edition in a pretty Natural Burst. Has a Gibson TP-6 tailpiece installed. Has plenty of buckle worming on the rear (see photos). Had slip at one point that damaged 5 of the fret nibs on the non player side. I don't notice this while playing. Has a faint circle where a sticker used to be on the front that can be seen in the right lighting angle. ABR-1 stud holes were damaged and a Nashville bridge was installed as a replacement. No cracks or breaks. Electronics original. But here's the biggest quirk on the guitar: it has a “Smartwood” banner on the rear of the headstock. I believe this is a factory error. Other 1999 Natural Burst SG standards have the same banner present, but it reads “limited edition” instead of “smartwood edition”. I believe the wrong decal was applied at the factory and no one noticed....either that or there is an extremely limited run of Smartwood series SG Standards. Weighs 6lb 14oz. Comes with the Original tan Hardshell Gibson case with the combination lock, never been set. The pink coffin cover is no longer in the case. Feel free to ask questions or request more pictures!
